International Collect on Delivery - ICOD

A fee charged to the US recipient upon collection of import charges at the time of delivery, along with any unpaid duties, taxes and other fees for the shipment. The fee does not apply if duties and taxes are invoiced to a UPS account prior to delivery. US recipients can also avoid the fee before delivery by paying applicable customs charges electronically through the Import Payment Processing Application (IPPA).

IPPA can be accessed through:

• Shipment Payment Notification (recipients will receive this notification only if the sender has provided the recipient's contact information to UPS (name, email, phone) and the recipient has accepted UPS notification enrollment terms).
