Typically, UPS requires a signature from the recipient for all deliveries. As an exception, deliveries in certain countries are allowed on Driver Release (delivery to a location on the recipient's premises without requiring a signature) or Letter Box Release. Letter Box Release is a service provider release that allows certain residential packages to be left in a secure letter box without a signature.
